We collect personal data only when you voluntarily provide it, such as:

• Name, email address, or account details when registering for our services
• Information shared in feedback, inquiries, or comments
• Payment details for transactions (handled securely by third-party payment processors)

Data Collected by Extensions

Map Leads Finder:

• Publicly visible business information from Google Maps (business name, category, address, phone number, website URL, ratings)
• User-created categories and search preferences
• Session progress and usage statistics

Email Composer:

• Campaign selection and progress data
• Send logs and delivery status
• User preferences and settings

Local Storage

Our extensions use Chrome's local storage API to save:

• Authentication tokens for your SoftTechLab account
• User preferences and settings
• Temporary session data

This data remains on your device and can be cleared by removing the extension.

Google Account Credentials

Important: Our extensions never access, store, or transmit your Google account credentials. Authentication is handled exclusively through your SoftTechLab account.

Data Synchronization

Data collected through our extensions is synchronized to SoftTechLab servers to:

• Enable access from our web dashboard
• Provide data backup and persistence across sessions
• Enable export functionality

All data transmission is encrypted using HTTPS.

Public Information Only

The Map Leads Finder extension only accesses publicly visible business information displayed on Google Maps. It does not access any private, restricted, or authenticated content.

User Control

You maintain full control over your extension data:

• View and manage collected data through the SoftTechLab dashboard
• Delete your data at any time from your account settings
• Uninstall the extension to remove all local data
• Request complete data deletion by contacting support

What is stored

• Contacts you add or import: name, phone number, and any optional email, company, website, address, city, region, country, tags and notes you choose to store.
• Conversations: the content of messages sent from and received by your connected numbers, including attachments, along with delivery and read receipts returned by Meta.
• Media: images, documents, audio and video that customers send you, and files you upload for message templates. These are stored as files on our server, outside the public web root, and served by an application route.
• Pipeline data: lead stages, follow-up dates, priorities and notes you record about a person.
• Consent signals: whether a person has opted out, when, and whether their number was rejected as undeliverable.
• Your Meta credentials: your WhatsApp access token and app secret, which are encrypted at rest and are never returned to the browser in any API response.

Our role, and yours

For the data you upload about your customers, you decide what is collected and why; we store and process it on your instructions in order to run the service. You are responsible for having a lawful basis for holding and messaging those people, for telling them what they are owed about how their data is handled, and for answering requests they make to you about it. We will assist you with such a request where we reasonably can.

We do not sell your contact data, do not use it to market to your customers, and do not use the content of your messages to train models or build profiles. We do not share one customer's WhatsApp data with another; each account's data is scoped to that account throughout the service.

Who else sees it

• Meta Platforms: every message you send or receive passes through the WhatsApp Business Platform under your own Meta account, and is handled under Meta's own terms and privacy policy. Message template content is submitted to Meta for review.
• Razorpay and PayPal: used to take subscription payments. They receive what they need to process the payment and handle it under their own policies. We never receive or store your full card details.
• Our hosting and email providers: used to run the service and to send you receipts and notifications.

We may also disclose data where we are legally required to.

How long it is kept

Your WhatsApp Marketing data is kept while your account is active. Deleting a contact, conversation or lead removes it from our database, and disconnecting a number removes the media files stored for it.

When a subscription or trial expires, nothing is deleted automatically. We intend to keep the data for at least 30 days so that renewing restores your account as you left it, after which it may be deleted. Export what you need before then. You can ask us to delete your WhatsApp Marketing data sooner by contacting us.

Media links

Stored media is served from an address containing a long random filename and is not listed or linked anywhere public. Anyone who obtains that full address can open the file without signing in, because a browser cannot attach credentials to an image it is displaying. Treat these addresses as private and avoid pasting them where others can see them.
